Heart to Heart Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
Cookie
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 2 Egg yolks
- ½ cup Butter
- 2 oz Dark chocolate, chopped
Filling
- ½ cup white chocolate chips, melted
Directions
- . Melt the butter and chocolate in the microwave
- . Set aside
- . Place flour and sugar in processor and pulse on and off
- . Add the yolks and butter, then chocolate mixture
- . Pulse until a dough is formed
- . Wrap in saran wrap and set aside for about 30 minutes
- . Heat oven to 350
- . Using half the dough at a time
- . Roll out dough between 2 sheets parchment to ¼“ thick
- . Cut into 2 size hearts (one goes on top of the other)
- . Set on parchment covered cookie sheets
- . Bake for about 7-10 minutes or until firm to the touch
- . Do NOT over bake – the cookies will crisp up as they cool
- . Sandwich with a ½ teaspoon of the melted white chocolate
- . Allow to set
Note: You can decorate the cookies as you like
