A fresh, floral, and layered masala chai made by Timothy Chacko. Inspired by his culture of Kerala, fresh Indian spices are toasted locally and blended with an Organic Assam black tea base. This is our favorite Masala Chai! Best boiled with milk and sweetened with jaggery.

Tea Tips: For a morning or afternoon wake-up. A dessert tea. Add a spoonful of sweetened condensed milk for a quick chai latte!
Ingredients: Organic Assam black tea, cardamom, organic cinnamon, organic ginger, fennel, black pepper, cloves, Kurdish saffron
How to Steep: 1 heaping tsp, 8 oz water, 212°F, 3–5 min
How to prepare Traditional Style:
- Bring ½ cup whole milk + ½ cup water + extra splash of milk to a boil
- Once it reaches a boil, simmer the milk mixture for 3 minutes on low
- Add 2 tsp. of Arka Masala Chai
- Simmer for 2-5 minutes, or until desired strength
- Strain and add sweetener of preference: sugar, jaggery, or condensed milk
- "Pull" the chai: Pour the chai from vessel to vessel to cool down + create foam
- Serve with tea rusk/Indian mixture and enjoy!
Fun Fact: Masala means "spice mixture" and chai means "tea"
