Fun Fact: Tianmu Shan is a famous Chinese mountain with a long history of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. Japanese monks visited this region in the Song Dynasty (960-1279 CE) to study Buddhism. Upon returning to Japan, the Japanese developed a similar pottery named Tenmoku.
