Texan and Indian food are both known for strong flavors, and that connection inspired our Texas Chile Chai. We added Aleppo chile pepper to a classic masala chai, and the result is a multicultural taste adventure.

Ingredients: India, Assam black tea, cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, cloves, ginger, black pepper, licorice root, Turkish Aleppo chile peppers (powdered)
How to Steep: 1 heaping tsp, 8 oz water, 212°F, 4–5 min
Fun Fact: Masala means "spice mixture," and chai means "tea." Many Indian mothers have a special secret recipe for their masala chai.
