Product Details: Height = 4"/Diameter = 2.75" | Washi is made from the fibers of the inner bark of a Japanese tree and is extremely durable. Note: For voluminous teas such as White Peony and Silver Needles, and voluminous tisanes such as chamomile and spearmint, this tin will hold only 1 oz.
Fun Fact: Wa means "Japanese," and shi means "paper."
Product Details: Dimensions: approx. 4.9" x 2.6". These tins hold approximately 3.5 oz of most loose-leaf teas. White teas are exceptions, and these tins would only hold about 2 oz of this tea type.
Fun Facts: When tea first came to Europe from China, it was very expensive and was packaged in large, sealed, blue-and-white porcelain containers. It wasn't until the Industrial Revolution that tea became affordable and began to be sold in mass-produced tins.
