Earl Grey Paris Shortbread

Ingredients
¾ cup confectioner’s sugar
2 tablespoon strong brewed Earl Grey Paris Tea
Directions:
- 2 ¼ 2ticks butter
- 1 ¼ cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons Earl Grey Paris tea
- pinch of salt
Glaze Ingredients
- . Lightly grease a 7” by 10" pan
- . Place the tea and butter in a microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute
- .Stir and microwave for another 30 seconds. Stir . . . Strain out the tea leaves
- . Allow the flavored butter to cool
- . Preheat oven to 350
- . Beat cooled, flavored butter and confectioner’s sugar until light
- . Beat in the flour and salt
- . Spread the batter evenly in the greased pan
- . Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until the shortbread is lightly browned. Remove from oven and allow to cool
- . Cut into squares
- . Reduce oven to 250. Set the squares on a baking sheet - return to the oven and allow the squares to dry out for about 15 minutes
- . Mix together the glaze ingredients and drizzle over the shortbread
