Morning Moment Tea Syrup

Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ cup loose Morning Moment tea
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- . Boil the water and pour it onto the tea leaves
- . Allow to steep for 10 minutes then strain off the tea into a small saucepan
- . Add the rest of ingredients except the vanilla
- . Bring to the boil and simmer gently uncovered until the liquid has reduced by 1/3 and is syrupy
Note: The cooking time will depend on the saucepan you use - . Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract
- . Taste - to see if it needs more lemon juice – or sugar
- . Cool then refrigerate until ready to use
- . Use on fruit, ice cream, yogurt for breakfast or frozen as a popsicle
